Dominic Carl Beardmore (DCB’s) trained with the Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers before leaving the Army and starting his own business with his wife Helen in 1994. Over the past 25 years DCB’s has grown and now employs 5 highly skilled mechanics operating the MOT bay and carrying out servicing and repairs on all makes and models. His experience over this time has allowed him to concentrate on areas where large dealerships find difficulty in fulfilling customer expectations. Our aim is to provide our customers with a professional, friendly, and reliable service dedicated to repairing your vehicle to the highest standard whilst maintaining true value for your money. Six years ago, at the age of 24, Dominic and Helen’s oldest son Jake joined DCB’S on a full-time basis to assist in the front office. It soon became very clear that Jake had a lot
more to bring to the company than just assisting the already well-established team.
Whist working at DCB’S Jake gained valuable qualifications in IT and management and in 2018 became a director of the Company. Jake, who is supported by his wife Zoe, has a great work ethos, overwhelming energy, and sheer passion to achieve. He has ensured that DCB Autos is (and will be) equipped to flourish for another 25 years, ensuring we continue to give the excellent customer service and workmanship our clients have come to expect!
DCB Autos is a fully independent organisation equipped with the latest Snap-on electronic diagnostic equipment and the support of up-to-date workshop information and manuals provided by the vehicle manufacturer.

30 + years experience in the Trade. Dominic qualified as a royal electrical mechanical engineer and started DCB’s in 1994 with his wife Helen. Making DCB’s a pleasurable place to work. Dominic strives for his team to give the best customer service there is.
Since opening in 1994, Helen has supported DCB’s in all areas of administration and is always happy to be called upon to assist wherever possible.
Jake joined DCB’s in the summer of 2016. Working closely with his father, Jake’s role is to organize the workshop, give the best customer service and manage the day-to-day business of DCB’s. Jake completed a 3-year business NVQ at Yeovil college gaining knowledge in all aspects of business life.
Third oldest son of Dominic and Helen, Aiden started at DCB's Febuary 2023 and assist with all aspects of the business in the front office. Aiden strives to give the best customer service and is happy to help anyone.
Keith has been with DCB’s since 2012. Keith has over 25 years of experience in the trade. Coming from Vauxhall, Keith carries out a lot of electrical diagnostics, motorbike MOT’s and in 2022 has completed his EV training so DCB’s can offer our services to customers with Electric vehicles.
Pete joined DCB’s January 2020. Pete has had many years experience at dealers and also spent time working for Mercedes roadside recovery. Pete’s wide range of knowledge makes him willing to carry out the bigger jobs at DCB’s keeping the standard extremely high.
Gary came to DCB’s January 2022. Gary has over 10 years in the trade, Gary is capable of carrying out servicing, MOTS and repairs on various makes and models to a high standard.
Ben joined DCB's in 2019 and carried out his Level 3 apprenticeship at Yeovil College since passing his Level 3, Ben has been with us full time carrying out servicing and repairs to all makes and models.
Wez completed his 4 day, Vehicle Technician Accredited Assessment Level 3 course back in January with RMI Academy. Wez has started his training to become an authorised MOT tester here at DCBs and already showing his enthusiasm for the trade!
